Lauren Wegel Architect is a New York based architecture and design firm founded in 2007 which provides architectural, design, interior  design, programming/ space analysis and project management services to public and private clients.  The firm specializes in residential and commercial projects and has a wide range of experience at a variety of scales.  Dedicated to design integrity and client services, we believe that architecture is a collaborative process- where the intersection of ideas, budget and context help to create a product that is about utility, beauty and timelessness.

A graduate of Syracuse University School of Architecture and post-graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Lauren Wegel is a licensed architect in New York and has over 20 years of work experience at firms such as Selldorf Architects, FX Fowle, and Rafael Viňoly Architects where she completed numerous commercial, institutional, and residential projects.  During her time at FXFowle (formerly Fox & Fowle) she gained experience with green building design and sustainability issues on a number of residential and  commercial projects.   She continues to apply this knowledge within her work as per the individual requirements of each project and client’s needs and budget. In addition to maintaining her New York practice, she has also taught architectural design at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Architecture and Kansas State College of Architecture, Planning and Design.
